So yeah, I’m too lazy right now to write a full review and all that catchy photos and stuff. Just go and get your hands on Cyanogen Mod 10.1 Nightly! and let us know how was it…
Nightly stuff is not stable and things may go wrong. Proceed at your own risk.
The official CyanogenMod 10.1 nightly builds for Verizon and Sprint Galaxy Note 2 has been finally announced and is available for download. If you were waiting for this update, then this is a news which will make you happy. Please be aware that these updates are less stable as it is nightly build and may have many bugs.
Mango users might not have recovered just yet from the blow Microsoft dealt them by announcing that WP7 devices won’t be getting the Apollo update, but apparently the Windows Phone developer community still has enough passion left to come up with an app like W Phone 8. If you followed our coverage of the Windows Phone 8 event held last month, you might already know that one of the best changes expected to be released in the Apollo update is the revamped Start screen. Users will be able to resize live tiles to three levels (small, medium and large) and most of the tiles will be made double-sided. So, what has the W Phone 8 app got to do with all that? In fact, it has got everything to do with the WP8 Start screen! The app is a simulator of sorts that comes with a secondary Start screen having semi-functional tiles. Not only that, you can adjust the size and positions of all the pinned tiles just the way it will work in WP8, and there’s even a nice collection of accent colors to go with it.
When you launch the W Phone 8 app for the first time, you will be presented with a prearranged screen full of live tiles, having varying dimensions. A few of these tiles actually work, but we will come back to that a little later. If you are not satisfied with the theme color of this secondary (we just can’t bring ourselves to call it fake) Start screen, locate the Settings icon in the grid. Tapping Settings will take you to a collection of Accent Colors, and you can choose any of them as the theme for the app’s Start screen. Now that you have assigned your favorite color to the tiles, you are ready to enjoy the best feature of the Apollo Start screen; resizable tiles! To do that, tap and hold over any tile and in addition to the usual unpin button, a new arrow will appear on the tile as well (in the bottom right corner). Hitting this arrow button will let you change the size of each tile to small, medium or full width (like the calendar app in WP7). The full width mode is only available for some of the apps, at least in W Phone 8.
The following apps are installed on the W Phone 8 Start screen.
Phone: Takes the user to the People hub’s contact list.
Message: Opens a new text message in the real Messaging hub.
Email: Tap this to compose a new mail.
Settings: For accent changing, as discussed above.
Marketplace: Through this tile you can go to the real Marketplace, and pin any tile to the W Phone 8 Start screen (although tapping the new tile will only take you to the app’s Marketplace page even after it has been installed on your WP7).
Me: Lets you post any update to your accounts via the real Me section in the People hub.
Internet Explorer: Really opens the IE in your WP7.
All other tiles are either non-functional, or just direct you to each app’s respective Marketplace page. W Phone 8 might be more of a novelty app rather than something actually useful, but we love it nonetheless. So, if you have been wondering why the announcement of Windows Phone 8 has caused such a stir, do give W Phone 8 a try. It is available in the Marketplace for free, and can be downloaded from the following link.
Everyone appears to be absolutely in love with the Chrome app for iOS. The first impression of the new iPhone web browser might be that it is perfect, and has got all the features anyone can possibly want. However, that is not the case. Although Chrome is better than Safari in quite a few areas, there are still things that could have been better in Google’s official browser app for iPhone and iPad. If you don’t believe that, and happen to think that nothing can be improved in Chrome, take a look at our post discussing some of the best Chrome-related Cydia tweaks available in the jailbreak store. The Cydia developer community isn’t satisfied with the Chrome app just yet, and the latest tweak released for the enhancement of the browser is named EasyRefresh for Chrome. If you have ever used the Chrome app on your iPhone, you are sure to have noticed that if you want to refresh any page, you have to go to the app’s options menu and tap the button from there. EasyRefresh solves this problem by adding a new refresh button to the address bar, just the way it works in Safari!
Before installing the tweak, go to the Chrome app and take a look at the address bar. It has got nothing except the URL of the page you are currently on. The options menu features the refresh/ stop button at the top of the list. EasyRefresh for Chrome will not disturb this refresh button, it will just copy it to the address bar. The tweak can be downloaded from the BigBoss repo of the Cydia store, where (quite expectedly) it is available as a free download. The whole package is just 13kB in size, and will finish installing in the blink of an eye. After downloading EasyRefresh, launch Chrome again. It is better if you kill the app from the App Switcher tray before re-launching it, but that is not a necessary step. Once the app is up and running, take a look at the address bar, and you will see the newly added refresh button there. While a page is loading, the button will be displayed as a cross icon that can be used to stop loading a page at any time. Other than that, the button is there to let you refresh the page.
Of course, EasyRefresh is just one of the ways you can have an alternative to the stock refresh method in Chrome. The Chromizer tweak (covered in detail in our list post linked in the intro) adds the pull to refresh functionality to Chrome. However, if you are a fan of the address bar refresh button, EasyRefresh is the tweak you need.

The “Simple Clean Fast” web browser by The Adair Team was out on 19th of May. However it was based on a /rebuilt/ that means a faster processing IE7 Engine was not impressive but at least it managed to do well and surf the web without even a single crash. But the new version update or say the major update is something that will be hard to ignore. A big jump from version 0.5.1 Release Candidate to 5.9 Stable…
The new version has the WebKit Engine which supports HTML5 which gives you a not bad 240 Score with 2 bonus points in the test. It is surely not the best because Maxthon is leading the way out of HTML5 with an awesome, really awesome 470 on 500.
WHAT IS HTML5?
HTML5 is a markup language for structuring and presenting content for the World Wide Web, and is a core technology of the Internet originally proposed by Opera Software. It is the fifth revision of the HTML standard (created in 1990 and standardized as HTML4 as of 1997) and, as of May 2012, is still under development. Its core aims have been to improve the language with support for the latest multimedia while keeping it easily readable by humans and consistently understood by computers and devices (web
browsers, parsers, etc.). HTML5 is intended to subsume not only HTML 4, but XHTML 1 and DOM
“We are working hard on upgrading our engines and getting better and better to beat atleast Google Chrome with using the least processor usage” says AndreasCY from The Adair Team.
“We have our main concentration on the speed and ease on the browser, along with the smooth acceleration to avoid crashes” said AdityaDB also from the team.
We give this web browser a 4 watching the easy design maintaining the metro design style. So if you want to go ahead and try this browser out you go here
It all started when I was thinking about making something more bigger, more faster, more efficient, more dynamic, more clear, more crisp, less demanding and I were I reached was a preparing a Download Manager. A Download Manager increases the speed of your file downloads by making them into pieces or just using a little bit of hardware accelaration. Internet Download Manager that used to download files in parts which really helped made me disappointed one day when I was downloading a very heavy file [12.4 GB] and when the download completed, it took a Hell of Time to put the parts back into one file and guess what? My system crashed and everything I had was just a parts of corrupted Downloads.
What is AFM?
AFM stands for Adair File Manager. A software developed by the Adair Team. Adair is a web browser. What AFM does is that it simply downloads the files with Hardware and GPU Accelaration. No No, it does not take a big piece of processor memory and it does not need to Append all downloaded parts into one file.
What is the difference betweeen IDM and AFM?
AFM takes 9,000K processor memory and in other hand AFM takes 6,000K Average. Internet Download Manager while downloading iTunes-Setup.exe for testing had a top speed of 400 KBps average and in AFM while testing it’s speed it gave me a blazing and a surprising 500-600 KBps!
When tested in Adair File Manager.
When tested in Internet Download Manager
Although we are working day and night for the development of it’s user interface which is inspired by Windows Metro because it is easy, fast, simple and gorgeous. We are also working on the Cancel, Pause and Stop Buttons and they will be available in the next update. The first release of AFM is 3.6 Beta 2.
The Verge reports that a modified version of the Internet Explorer is currently under testing for the Xbox 360. That’s not all. The software giant has also added Kinect gestures and voice command integration that will allow users to browse the web using the existing Bing voice search tool. The new version of Internet Explorer for the Xbox will draw upon the voice search functionality to develop a full browser for the console. Microsoft hasn’t made it official yet but expectations are high considering E3 is just around the corner.
